Yes, all tickets include the complimentary usage of the entire public transportation in Munich.
The fastest way to get to the Olympiapark is by the public transportation of the MVG: Take the subway U3 directly to the subway station “Olympiazentrum”.
An alternative subway connection is the U1/U7 to the subway station “Gern”, from where you can reach the Olympiapark by walking distance. Just follow the walking signs at the subway station. Otherwise, passengers can also take the direction to the subway station “Olympia-Einkaufszentrum” to take the U3 from there to the “Olympiazentrum”.
You can also reach the Olympiapark by tram or city bus.

The budget for the European Championships Munich 2022 is 130 million euros. 100 million euros will be allocated by the City of Munich, the Free State of Bavaria, and the Federal Republic of Germany. The three funding bodies will each cover one third of the costs. The remaining 30 million euros are generated through marketing, ticketing, and broadcasting services.
The European Championships take place every four years. In 2018, the premiere took place in Berlin and Glasgow and in 2022, the second edition will be hosted in Munich.

The Roofs - Cultural Festival of Munich 2022 is the festival of diversity and surprise. It accompanies the European Championships with a mix of music, culture, arts, food and much more.
With the historic Olympic locations at the forefront, the European Championships 2022 will primarily use pre-existing infrastructure and venues, setting an example in terms of sustainability. Short commutes between the venues and excellent public transport will further minimalize the impact on the city and its surroundings.
Berlin and Glasgow successfully co-hosted the inaugural European Championships from the 2nd-12th of August 2018, bringing together the individual championships of seven of Europe’s leading sports into one coordinated multi-sport event. Aquatics, Cycling, Golf, Gymnastics, Rowing, and Triathlon took place across central Scotland, while Berlin hosted the Athletics programme.
The European Championships Munich 2022 will take place in Munich from 11-21 August 2022.
At the European Championships Munich 2022, nine European Championships will take place in the Olympic sports of athletics, beach volleyball, canoe sprint, cycling, gymnastics, rowing, sport climbing, table tennis, and triathlon. The European Canoe Sprint Championships and the European Rowing Championships also include events in paracanoeing and para rowing, respectively.
Munich 2022 will require more than 6,000 volunteers in 16 different areas.
At the European Championships Munich 2022 more than 4,700 athletes will compete in 176 exciting and spectacular medal events for gold, silver, and bronze.

The race walking and marathon competitions will take place in the centre of Munich – the other athletics events in the Olympiastadion. Gymnastics will take place in the Olympiahalle. The Olympiapark will be the home for triathlon, just like for the BMX freestyle and mountain bike competitions. Beach volleyball and climbing will be hosted at Königsplatz. Canoe sprint and rowing are traditionally based at the Munich Olympic Regatta Centre. The European Table Tennis Championships can be witnessed in the Rudi-Sedlmayer-Hall. A temporary track is being built for track cycling at Messe München. The road cycling races lead from the outskirts of Munich to the city centre.
