Follow in the footsteps of Europe's best runners and experience the maximum runner's high - with the Run of 22 at the European Championships Munich 2022. All runners aged 14 and over can set off on the original marathon loop on 15 August 2022 following the start of the elite. The ten-kilometre run will take the participants past Munich’s most beautiful sites and will end at Odeonsplatz - timekeeping and a medal included.

Your unforgettable experience

We will make sure that your Run of 22 turns into a unique experience both on and off the track. When registering, please indicate your target time and help us allocate the participants to appropriate starting group. The respective starting group and time are marked on the bib number. All you have to do is arrive on time, lace up your running shoes and enjoy the experience. We will take care of everything else.

THE ORIGINAL COURSE

A different kind of sightseeing: when Europe's best long-distance runners hit the marathon course at the European Championships Munich 2022, they will take in more sights than many a tourist on a city tour. However, things are not quite as relaxed, with gold, silver, and bronze at stake. Four medal decisions are on the agenda – the women's and men's marathons as well as the respective team decisions.

NEVER TOO YOUNG

Even the youngest runners fancy a challenge - that's why all 6- to 14-year-olds can take on the 2.195 km course at the Kids’ Run of 22. At the finish line, a goodie bag and a medal await them, which will look great in any children's room. The Kids’ Run of 22 takes place in cooperation with the school campaign ‘Lauf dich fit!’ of the Bavarian Athletics Association.
