Move for solidarity

As the Local Organizing Committee of the European Championships Munich 2022, we see it as our responsibility to use sport to show solidarity TOGETHER. Therefore, we would like to implement the Count & Last project month "Move for Solidarity".

In cooperation with Munich Sports Youth, BLSV and the City of Munich, we organised the "Move For Solidarity Day" in Munich`s Olympiapark at the Olympiasee on 24 April 2022. The event is specifically for refugee children and young people from Ukraine as well as from other areas, who have arrived in Munich. The intention was to give them the opportunity to escape from everyday life for a few hours through a variety of sporting activities, as well as to make social contacts and feel welcome in Munich. Of course, ALL Munich residents were cordially invited to the sports festival.
